2. Marketplace Nature:

Pagoda Travel is a neutral facilitator and does not take responsibility for the actual services rendered by guides, DMCs, or agents. All service agreements and liabilities are between the service providers and clients.

3. User Responsibilities:

You agree to provide accurate information, uphold professional conduct, and comply with all applicable laws while using our platform.

4. Fees:

Pagoda Travel offers a free plan with optional paid tiers and future white-label opportunities. Fee structures will be communicated transparently before you opt into any paid services.

5. Intellectual Property:

All platform content, technology, and branding remain the property of Pagoda Travel. You may not reproduce or misuse our intellectual property without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability:

Pagoda Travel is not liable for service quality or disputes between users. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Governing Law:

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.

Privacy Policy

We collect only necessary personal data to operate the platform, including your name, email, and business information. We use this data to:

  • Facilitate connections between agents, guides, and DMCs.
  • Manage your account and support needs.
  • Improve our platform services.

We do not sell your data to third parties. Data may be shared with essential third-party processors for payment processing, hosting, and email services. For data deletion or correction, contact us at hello@pagoda.travel.

Users are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence and communicate clearly to ensure service alignment.

Data Processing Agreement

By using our platform, you authorize Pagoda Travel to process your data solely for the purpose of platform operation and improvement in compliance with data protection regulations. We implement security measures to protect your data and will notify you of any data breaches promptly.

Professional Waiver for Guides & DMCs

By joining Pagoda Travel, guides and DMCs agree:

  • Pagoda Travel is not responsible for service delivery or disputes.
  • Guides and DMCs are fully responsible for compliance with local laws, licenses, and insurance.
  • You indemnify Pagoda Travel against claims arising from your services.

Code of Conduct

All users must:

  • Act professionally and ethically with clients, partners, and the Pagoda team.
  • Respect cultural norms and the privacy of clients.
  • Maintain honesty and transparency in service offerings.
  • Avoid discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

Support & Dispute Policy

  • Submit support tickets via hello@pagoda.travel or in-app support.
  • Pagoda will acknowledge your issue within 24 business hours and investigate within 3 business days.
  • We facilitate communication in disputes but remain neutral and are not responsible for services rendered.
  • For emergencies during travel, we will attempt to contact the guide/DMC but do not guarantee service outcomes.
  • Users may pursue independent legal action for unresolved disputes, recognizing Pagoda’s neutral facilitator role.
