Marketing & Content Creator

About the Role
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Marketing & Content Creator to expand our reach, engage our audience, and position Pagoda. Travel as the go-to platform for bespoke Japan and Asia travel planning. This role will own our marketing calendar, create compelling content across multiple channels, and run campaigns that generate leads, nurture our community, and support agent acquisition. This is the perfect role for someone who loves travel, storytelling, and building brand presence from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation
Develop and execute a content calendar (blogs, newsletters, social media, case studies, platform updates).
Write engaging and educational articles for travel agents (e.g., destination insights, platform tips, success stories).
Create visual assets (Canva/Adobe) for posts, ads, and presentations.
Work with operations team to turn agent and guide success stories into shareable content.
Social Media & Community Engagement
Manage and grow Pagoda.Travel’s presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
Respond to comments/messages and foster a sense of community among agents and guides.
Monitor social trends and competitor activity to keep content fresh and relevant.
Marketing Campaigns & Lead Generation
Plan and execute targeted campaigns to acquire new agents (email, social ads, partnerships).
Optimize campaigns for lead conversion and track ROI.
Collaborate with operations team to align messaging with platform updates and business priorities.
Analytics & Optimization
Monitor performance metrics (engagement, leads generated, email open/click rates).
Provide regular reports and recommend optimizations to improve reach and impact.
Requirements
Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation (preferably B2B or travel industry).
Excellent writing and editing skills (English, native or near-native).
Strong understanding of LinkedIn & Facebook marketing; Instagram experience a plus.
Comfort with tools such as Canva, HubSpot/Mailchimp, Google Analytics, or similar.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver on deadlines.
Creativity and storytelling ability — passion for travel is a big plus!
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience with paid ad campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads).
Knowledge of SEO and keyword optimization.
Familiarity with travel agent communities and the luxury/bespoke travel market.
Basic video editing skills (short-form content for social)
Work Environment
Fully remote, work-from-home position.
